Lauren and Dan's first encounter was in 2018 on a Saturday in Uptown Dallas. Lauren had recently graduated from TCU and was excited to explore her new town. While out with some girlfriends at Kung Fu Saloon, Lauren was approached by a tall, handsome man in a Hawaiian shirt. His name was Dan! Dan joined Lauren and her friends for cocktails and quickly was a hit within the group. Wanting to keep the party going, the crew relocated to Dallas' Rosewood Mansion for some espresso martinis and jazz music. Wide awake after a few espresso martinis, Lauren and Dan decided to have a night cap, and take their first photo together, at a local hidden gem - the Dragonfly Bar at Hotel ZaZa!

After several outings in Dallas, Lauren and Dan decided it was time to DTR! (define the relationship) They became official on October 5th, and have celebrated their anniversary on that day since.

For their 1 month anniversary, Dan treated Lauren to a trip to Austin for her birthday! They quickly learned they enjoyed traveling with each other and were both big foodies! This was the first of many trips for L&D.

Visiting from Houston, Lauren introduced Dan to her parents at Javier's in Dallas. Several margaritas, cigars, and laughs were had!

For their first Valentine's Day, Dan flexed his project management skills, and won over Lauren's heart! The day was filled with candle making, flowers, and drinks at The Mansion Bar.

By May, Lauren & Dan were having a ball! Still new to Dallas, Dan enjoyed being Lauren's tour guide and introducing her to the city's best places and events - including Lee Park's Kentucky Derby party! The winner that year was "Country House".

L&D celebrated their 1-Year anniversary by wearing the same outfits they initially met in 12 months before. Dan in his Hawaiian shirt and Lauren in a red blouse. From then, Lauren & Dan have celebrated 4 anniversaries before their engagement in 2023.

At last, Lauren & Dan were engaged at the Warwick in New York City on October 8th, 2023! Following the proposal, L&D celebrated at Restaurant Daniel, a double Michelin star restaurant in Manhattan. The City, its lights, and the Warwick Hotel will always hold a special place in Lauren & Dan's heart ❤️
